Evanildo began his career in the mid-2000s as an animator in the advertising industry in São Paulo.
In 2004, he participated in the worldwide avant-garde movement of cut out animation as a supervisor and animation director, creating digital animation techniques and methodologies for several projects and studios – including the first digital feature film of “Turma da Mônica em Uma Aventura no Tempo”, by Maurício de Sousa Productions studio.
Evanildo also participated in international productions such as Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog”, “Asterix and the Vikings” and the TV series “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, among several other works for film and TV.
In 2010, he founded Animact Studio, a production company focused on feature film and tv series, providing services and animation training to skilled professional.
Also at Animact Studio, he was the director and producer of TV series such as: Sítio do Pica-pau Amarelo, Turma da Mônica, Vivi Vira Vento, Cantando com a Ping, among several other projects. In addition, he participated in short movies that have won festivals: Dalivincasso, Miss and Grubs, O Tênis da Hora.
